Meet Our Writers: David D. Haines, PhD.

David D. Haines, Ph.D., is an immunologist whose research focuses on the cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying inflammation, immune function, disease, and aging. 

A member of the research faculty at the University of Debrecen’s Faculty of Pharmacy, he has contributed to a wide-ranging body of work spanning immunology, oxidative stress, metabolic and inflammatory disorders, and translational biomedical science. Dr. Haines received his Ph.D. in Immunology from the University of Connecticut and has held academic affiliations in the United States, Kuwait, Iran, and Hungary. 

His research portfolio reflects a multidisciplinary approach to understanding immune-related processes in health and disease.
